Welcome to The Journal Entries: my way of sharing behind the scenes... that doesn't involve social media.

If you missed last week, you can read it here ->

If this is your first time reading this welcome! In my Live Q&A this week, I talked a bit about how I've been separating myself from Meta little by little, and this is the best way to keep in touch: by being on my email list.

in this particular entry, I'll be sharing...

  • What I do in the final week of the month
  • My meal plan from this week with my kids
  • CFO call agenda
  • Strategy call summaries
  • A link to my firm blog about a client case study on fraud

...and more!

Vol. 9. Negotiating Prices

Nowadays, this is what I'm taking my time with: Making sure I’m clear on scope Making sure it adds the value that the business owner is looking for  Making sure I’m charging enough to make all those promises worth it for me And once I have...
Vol. 8. My first ever client refund
After 8 years in business, I finally had a client ask for a refund after I disengaged. What a gut-punch. And quite possibly a rite of passage. I thought I was doing the right thing by disengaging before things went any further. Apparently, that client was pretty upset that I didn't do so sooner, and that we even took on the engagement to begin with and felt like he overpaid for the services al...
