For me, it’s a group of people gathered together for a common cause or interest.
Like you and me and the other kick-ass bookkeepers and accountants on this email list. We are all striving to become better at our craft & serve clients to the highest level possible.
Which is awesome! I love getting replies and learning more about you.
But today I’m thinking about how you can make more friends interested in this common goal. Not just me. So I’ve gathered a few places where I hang out and feed my obsession with bookkeeping & business.

Bookkeeping Sidehustle Community - truth be told, I don’t spend a ton of time in Facebook groups anymore, but I do frequently pop into this one to answer questions. But mostly, I just read Kate’s newsletter on Substack… like religiously. She puts out some really top notch & transparent content.

The Mind Your Business Podcast - this isn’t specific to bookkeeping, but rather business in general. The shifts you will make from listening to this podcast are—dare I say—quantum.

The Ambitious Bookkeeper Community - I’d be remiss not to mention my own community. The caliber of accountants and bookkeepers in here is second to none. Everyone in here is eager to learn & share while being super supportive of everyone else. I host monthly Live Q&As on zoom, too—so you don’t even have to be in the FB group to access those. They’re every 1st Thursday of the month (but we’re skipping July).
